Logistics company Nuvocargo hires data and customer experience managers

Freight forwarder and customs broker LatAm Nuvocargo has appointed Chloe Wang as chief data officer, while Alberto Castro has joined as head of customer experience (CX).

Nuvocargo offers a digital platform focused on cross-border trade between the United States and Mexico, combining proprietary software with a team of bilingual specialists to manage end-to-end freight movement. Wang joins from San Francisco, after working at Dropbox as Product Manager, Data Platform; and as senior product manager for JP Morgan Chase & Co; having previously served as Product Manager of the Master Data Management Platform at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. In her new role, she is responsible for creating a data-driven culture and driving customer improvements, leading a team that implements infrastructure and data processes to enable advanced automation.

Wang reports to Product Manager Anaid Chacón, who comments, “Chloé’s trajectory of creating large-scale products is an incredible asset and having her on the team is a testament to our commitment to delivering premier digital service and experiences. order to simplify trade for our customers. Castro joins with nearly fifteen years of experience leading large client and operations teams in the Americas, Asia and Europe. This includes work at e-commerce support companies Zubale and Kavak, payment company Stripe and four years at Uber, where he most recently served as head of LATAM Centers of Excellence. In his new role based in Mexico City, Castro is responsible for leading all of Nuvocargo’s CX efforts.
